This stop motion animated short film (in progress) adapts the first sequence of Samuel Beckett’s 1957 tragicomedic play Endgame. I was responsible for both character designs and puppet fabrication. Clov, the ambulatory paper doll, is built from aluminum wire, foam batting, tracing paper, cotton thread, and alcohol inks, while Hamm, the seated cloth doll, is made of old t-shirt scraps and faux fur layered over a wire armature and needle felted body.
