The centerpiece of my 2024 MFA solo exhibition, home / office, is “See You At Home,” a stop motion animated short film based on interview audio of three contemporary American laborers describing their average workday. The film features three unique puppets, each made with an aluminum armature, upholstery foam body, hand sewn clothing, and 3D printed head. The faces were individually modeled in ZBrush and Nomad Sculpt, 3D printed, and attached to the characters' necks using a system of tiny magnets embedded in each component part.
